Selected Hiking Trails in Kielce
This is a trail running near the Binkowski Hotel. It serves as a connector, linking the yellow walking trail around Kielce and the black trail leading to Pierścienica Mountain. Along the route, there are numerous tourist attractions such as a sports complex with a stadium and an indoor sports and entertainment hall, Kadzielnia – a former quarry, now a geological reserve featuring a picturesque amphitheater and viewpoints, the Avenue of Fame with sculptures of famous figures, the Gray Ranks Square commemorating the scout heroes of World War II, and the City Park surrounding the Castle Hill with valuable city monuments, including the former palace of Krakow bishops and the Kielce cathedral.
It leads through all the most interesting places in Kielce. Walking this route, you can successfully explore the city. On the way, there are attractions such as the Stefan Żeromski Museum, the Kielce Village Museum – Laszczyków Manor, the cathedral basilica, the National Museum in Kielce – the former palace of Krakow bishops, the Zieliński Palace, the main street of the city – Henryk Sienkiewicz Street, numerous monuments and commemorative plaques, squares, parks and squares, and the Kadzielnia nature reserve.

In the "Biesak – Białogon" reserve, you can observe the effects of tectonic phenomena and the oldest rocks in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. Along the route, you'll find educational boards providing basic information about trees, shrubs, and forest animals. There are also two forest clearings where you can see wooden models of forest fruits and mushrooms. These trails are very popular with children.
Geological, Ore, and Mining Educational Trail (3 km) This educational route was created to showcase the remnants of former mining excavations linked to the historic ore mining in the Kielce region. Located in the Chęciny-Kielce Landscape Park, it passes through the Karczówka nature reserve and the Dalnia and Grabina mountains. The 3 km route features 9 points of interest, including geological sites and mining facilities, each with an information board. These trails are a great opportunity for family recreation.

Red Main Świętokrzyski Trail (92 km) This trail begins in Gołoszyce and ends in Kuźniaki. It encompasses all the key areas of the region, including the Jeleniowski Landscape Park, the Świętokrzyski National Park, and the peaks of Łysiec (Łysa Góra), Łysica, and Radostowa, concluding in the forests of Suchedniów and Oblęgorek. Along the route, you'll find numerous nature reserves and popular tourist attractions such as the sanctuary on Święty Krzyż (Holy Cross), Nowa Słupia, Święta Katarzyna, and Kakonin.
Red Trail Chęciny – Kielce (20.5 km) During this hike, you can conquer several impressive hills offering panoramas of the surrounding mountain ranges. The Karczówka ridge provides a magnificent view of Kielce. The trail leads through incredibly picturesque areas where you can observe the geological attractions of the Chęciny-Kielce Landscape Park, as well as historical and technical monuments. It encompasses various forms of nature protection, such as the Zelejowa nature reserves, Raj Cave (close to the trail), Karczówka, and the Zgórskie Range Forests. The trail begins at the Lower Market Square in Chęciny and ends at the foot of Karczówka in Kielce.
Blue Trail Chęciny – Łagów (69 km) This trail begins in the market square of Chęciny, from where it leads to the "Piekło" (Hell) cave and the monument in Szewce. Continuing further, you can see the Zgórskie Mountains, Słowik, Biesak Mountain, and Pierścienica Mountain. The trail passes through Kielce, going along Ściegiennego and Tarnowska streets, and past Telegraf and Bukówka Mountains. Further along, you can discover Mójcza, Zalasna, Otrocz, Sikorza Mountains, as well as Brzechów, Daleszyce, Niwy, Września Mountain, Stołowa, Włochy, and Widełki. Subsequent attractions include Zamczysko Mountain, Kiełki Mountain, Sędek, and Bielowa, until reaching its final point in Łagów, where the trail connects with the green trail to Nowa Słupia.
